Update from Team Headquarters - 1700HRS local time 24th June 2004

The Mach 2 technicians were hard at work again early on Thursday morning fitting the new engine and turbo to the RS200E. There were no problems during the day in fitting the replacement engine and turbo. With the engine now fitted, some minor turbo air intake require finishing on Friday morning and the car will be ready to run.

The team enjoyed Thursday evening at what is becoming an alternate team headquarters, the Keg bar/restaurant in Manitou Springs.

Final members of the team and relatives/supporters arrived from the UK on Wednesday and Thursday bringing the team and those associated with the team to some 20 people.

Team Manager, Alan Greenwood, was successful in gaining permission to use part of the Pikes Peak International Raceway for a shakedown test on Friday 25th. This will enable the team to be ready for it's assault on the Peak on Saturday and ensure that, weather permitting, a sub ten minute run is possible.
