Update from Team Headquarters - 1700HRS local time 22nd June 2004The team remains upbeat regarding the progress made so far. Despite all competitors being forced to run on the lower section of the hill today due to bad weather, the Arrow Mach 2 Racing RS200E performed well with Stig advising that he was very comfortable with the car's performance. The team were planning some small changes to the car following the early morning's test and are confident that these charges will produce a further improvement in times. The team would like to thank it's last minute technical assistants, Rabin Rutten-James, Dan Fontaine and Gary Tholl who drove 1000 miles from Canada (out of a passion for racing) to help out the team at last moment following the injury to WeeGee Smith. We wish WeeGee a speedy recovery and thank him for all his invaluable assistance on the team's record attempt this year. |
